Softball Recap: Desert Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Desert Christian Academy couldn't beat Nuview Bridge on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Conquerors lost 16-6 to the Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Conquerors in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

Desert Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Aguirre, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Sydney Patterson was another, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Desert Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Nuview Bridge, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-6-1.

Desert Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 12-3 loss against Hamilton on the 30th. As for Nuview Bridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-10 victory against California Military Institute on the 30th.
