Basketball Recap: Hanover Beats Linn for Their Fourth Straight Win

Hanover entered their tilt with Linn on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Linn Bulldogs with a sharp 59-36 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

Hanover was led to victory by Garrett Martin and Braylon Meyn. Martin dropped a double-double on 18 points and 19 boards, while Meyn went 8 of 15 en route to 19 points and eight rebounds. Meyn's morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Bruna, who posted six points.

Hanover now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Linn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Hanover will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diller-Odell at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. After both having extra time off, Linn and Valley Heights will dust off their jerseys to take on one another on January 28th.
