Softball Recap: Hammond Triumphs

The third road matchup was the charm for Hammond, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past the Wardlaw Academy Patriots 18-1 on Thursday. The Skyhawks haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Hammond got a massive performance out of Ava Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Dorrington, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Hammond hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.
