Baseball Recap: Orangeville/Aquin Catholic vs. South Beloit Sobos

Orangeville/Aquin Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the South Beloit Sobos.

Gavin Roth was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

On South Beloit's side, JT Sanders was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Sanders was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Kayden Ellis was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and a run. Another player making a difference was Jacob Wilhite, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Orangeville/Aquin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for South Beloit, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-11.
