Shawnee can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cobden Appleknockers with a sharp 12-1 victory. With that win, the Redskins brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Addilyn Clark made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Clark was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madalyn Schuster, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Emma Young, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Shawnee's record is now 4-7. As for Cobden, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Shawnee will head out to face off against Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rangers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Redskins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cobden, they will welcome Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
