Football Recap: Franklin Flyers vs. Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-18 loss at the hands of the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flyers of the 48-19 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Despite the defeat, Franklin saw an underclassman step up: Calvin Carraher rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Franklin also got a significant boost from Caiden Peterman, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.
