Football Recap: Perry County Takes a Loss

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Perry County was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Cornersville Bulldogs. The Vikings lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in September of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-0 score last time.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perry County fell to 2-1. As for Cornersville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Perry County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-0 loss against McKenzie on the 12th. As for Cornersville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-15 defeat against Fayetteville on the 12th.
