Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian was the 90-45 winner over Frontier when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Faith Christian Eagles received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 64-47 to the Frontier Falcons. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Barrett almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Barrett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was RJ Berry, who posted eight points.

Even though they lost, Faith Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Frontier, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will venture away from home to challenge Fountain Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian is facing Fountain Central at the right time seeing as Fountain Central is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Frontier, they are taking a road trip to square off against Delphi Community at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
