Basketball Recap: Latexo Comes Up Short

Latexo lost against Normangee back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Latexo Tigers fell to the Normangee Panthers 61-55. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly six points.

Latexo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season. As for Normangee, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Groveton the next time they take the court. Latexo will host Groveton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Normangee will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
