Baseball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-0 to the Sequoyah Eagles.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sequoyah, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

While Commerce had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
