Soccer Game Preview: Carson vs. Narbonne

The Carson Colts will face off against the Narbonne Gauchos at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Carson proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past San Pedro 3-2. Carson better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Marco Cruz, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, Narbonne had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and Rancho Dominguez finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Narbonne have been dealt a draw since back in November of 2025.

Narbonne's draw makes their record 0-7-3 this season. As for Carson, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-3.

Carson skirted past Narbonne 2-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Gauchos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
