Soccer Recap: Gadsden County Comes Up Short

Gadsden County pushed their score to zero the last time they played Florida State University High School, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Gadsden County Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Florida State University High School Seminoles. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Seminoles are ranked 85th).

Gadsden County dropped their record down to 7-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Florida State University High School, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Gadsden County duke it out with the St. John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Florida State University High School, they will face off against Berkeley Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
