Highlands and Sam Houston are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Highlands Owls will take on the Sam Houston Hurricanes at 8:15 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sam Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Highlands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.

Everything went Highlands' way against Sam Houston in their previous matchup back in January, as Highlands made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highlands since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
