Basketball Recap: Providence Country Day Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Providence Country Day Knights ended up a good deal behind the Scituate Spartans and lost 66-52.

Scituate's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Larsh, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cam Healey, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points and six boards.

Providence Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Scituate, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9.

Providence Country Day has already played their next game (against Block Island), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Scituate has already played their next contest, a 68-50 loss against Central Falls on the 31st.
