Basketball Recap: Mumford Comes Up Short

Mumford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 55-35 to the North Farmington Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Raiders are ranked 71st).

Mumford's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for North Farmington, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Mumford will take on Hamtramck in a tournament on Monday. As for North Farmington, they will take on Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th.
