Rickards triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Genesis Henry

The Rickards Raiders stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Gainesville 44-21. The win was nothing new for Rickards as they're now sitting on five straight.

It was another big night for Genesis Henry, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rickards' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jariyah Jordan, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Rickards' victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Gainesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Rickards will be playing at home against Columbia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gainesville will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against West Port at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
