Alexander entered their tilt with Rome on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 15-2 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Alexander's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Rome, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Alexander will challenge South Paulding at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rome, they will take on Douglas County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
