Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Warriors vs. Tompkins Falcons

Jordan hasn't had much luck against Tompkins recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Jordan Warriors will welcome the Tompkins Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Tompkins took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jordan, who comes in off a win.

Jordan took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Paetow with a 48-44 win. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Panthers are ranked 543rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Tompkins ended up a good deal behind Katy Taylor on Friday and lost 77-63.

Jordan has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Tompkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
