Softball Game Preview: Oasis Sharks vs. East Lee County Jaguars

The Oasis Sharks will face off against the East Lee County Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oasis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Oasis' offense. They came up short against Mariner on Wednesday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Sharks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Lee County played against Island Coast on Friday and lost via forfeit.

East Lee County is on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. As for Oasis, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything went Oasis' way against East Lee County when the teams last played back in February, as Oasis made off with a 15-1 victory. Will Oasis repeat their success, or does East Lee County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
