Soccer Game Preview: Lehman vs. Cedar Park

Lehman is 0-4 against Cedar Park since January of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Lehman Lobos will host the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lehman's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lockhart. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lobos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 573rd, while the Lions are ranked 159th).

Rodolfo Marin and Juan Callejas scored both of Lehman's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Park). Everything went their way against Hays on Tuesday as Cedar Park made off with a 4-1 victory. The result kept the Timberwolves happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 17th.

Lehman's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Cedar Park, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
