Softball Recap: South Fayette Takes a Loss

If South Fayette was feeling good fresh off their 18-3 takedown of Montour on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions came up short against the West Allegheny Indians on Friday, falling 9-3. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

South Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for West Allegheny, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

South Fayette has already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Upper St. Clair on the 28th. As for West Allegheny, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Chartiers Valley on the 28th.
