Douglas County was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against ThunderRidge on Friday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 8-1 win. The Huskies have beaten the Grizzlies the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Grizzlies has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Gunnar Tinari, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Jeremiah Morey also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Douglas County's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for ThunderRidge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
