Baseball Game Preview: Germantown Mavericks vs. Starkville Yellowjackets

For the second straight game, Germantown will face off against Starkville. Germantown will head out on the road to square off against Starkville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Germantown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Germantown proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Starkville 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Germantown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Quick, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
