McCallum picks up 15th straight win on the road

The McCallum Knights posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-7 win over LBJ Austin. With McCallum ahead 40-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

McCallum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emy Chen led the charge by scoring 14 points along with three steals. Chen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 17 games she's played. Samantha Shreves was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.

McCallum's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-9. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28 points. As for LBJ Austin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.

McCallum will look to defend their home court on Friday against Navarro at 8:00 p.m. Navarro will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for LBJ Austin, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeast Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast Early College comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last ten games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
