Shiner had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Bremond Tigers by a score of 41-33 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Comanches who have now won 12 matches in a row.

Bremond's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Terrence Scott, who rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Scott's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards. Tristan Morehead was in the mix too, providing Bremond with two touchdowns.

Shiner's record now sits at 12-3. As for Bremond, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.

Shiner will take on Muenster in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. One thing working in Muenster's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last 11 games. Bremond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
