Eau Gallie won the last time they faced Harmony and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Commodores walked away with a 15-11 win over the Longhorns. The game was the first time the Commodores have beaten the Longhorns on their field since April 22, 2022.

Eau Gallie got a great performance from Cameron Sumner as he struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kayden Jaquez, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Deklyn Tynan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Eau Gallie has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.5 runs this season. As for Harmony, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eau Gallie will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Longhorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
