Football Recap: Pahokee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Legacy last Thursday, Pahokee came back down to earth. The Blue Devils took a hard 14-0 fall against the Glades Central Raiders on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Glades Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taj Barnes, who threw for 69 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 33 yards.

Pahokee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Glades Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

As of now, neither Pahokee nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
