Wakulla won the last time they faced Madison County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wakulla War Eagles walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Madison County Cowboys. The game was the first time the War Eagles have beaten the Cowboys on their field since March 21, 2022.

Gavin Estep made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Josiah Pierini, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was James Hoffman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Wakulla's record is now 9-5. As for Madison County, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
