Crystal City entered their tilt with Cotulla on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cowboys. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-11.

Leading Crystal City to victory were Alyssa Flores and Anayeli Luna. Flores had 24 digs and three assists, while Luna had 13 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Luna has posted since back in August.

Crystal City's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Cotulla, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Crystal City will challenge rival Natalia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cotulla is set to face off against their familiar foe Poteet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
