Basketball Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

Summit lost against Redmond back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Summit Storm lost to the Redmond Panthers at home by a 47-33 margin.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Redmond, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Summit and Redmond should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Summit will face off against Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 91 places (33 vs. 124). Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Summit comes in on four and Redmond on 11. Meanwhile, Redmond (ranked 14th) will meet Ridgeview (ranked 141st) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
