Baseball Recap: Argonaut Takes a Loss

Argonaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 1-0 to the Galt Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Tuesday.

Jacob Teravskis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 17 Ks.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Galt, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Argonaut will take on Ripon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galt, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Union Mine at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
