Softball Recap: Discovery Canyon Thunder vs. La Junta Tigers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Discovery Canyon). They blew past the La Junta Tigers 16-2 on Friday. With that victory, the Thunder brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Discovery Canyon will look to defend their home field on Monday against Lewis-Palmer at 4:00 p.m. Lewis-Palmer is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. As for La Junta, they will head out on the road to take on Southeast Colorado at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast Colorado will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something La Junta surely won't give up without a fight.
