Basketball Recap: Guadalupe Centers Has No Trouble Against Frontier STEM

Guadalupe Centers hadn't done well against Frontier STEM recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Guadalupe Centers Aztecs enjoyed a cozy 34-19 win over Frontier STEM. The contest marked the Aztecs' most dominant victory of the season.

Guadalupe Centers' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luis Popoca, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Popoca continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Christian Gonzalez was another key player, putting up eight points along with 15 boards and four blocks.
