Volleyball Recap: Cimarron Has No Trouble Against Coronado

Cimarron had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Coronado Leopards 3-0 on Thursday. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Cimarron won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Cimarron's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Coronado, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cimarron will head out to square off against Questa at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Coronado, they will square off against Tse' Yi' Gai at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
