Volleyball Recap: MacDonald Takes a Loss

MacDonald lost against Palo Alto back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Condor fell 3-1 to the Vikings. The Condor have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

MacDonald was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Palo Alto work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 24-26, 25-11, 26-24.

Tobin Ley paced MacDonald's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ley got some help from Dylan Bugarin and his 24 assists. Logan Tran controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

MacDonald's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Palo Alto, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-10.

Coming up, MacDonald will face off against Eastside College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palo Alto, they will host King's Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
