Villa Rica posted their closest victory since September 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Temple Tigers 2-1. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Villa Rica's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamey Hennelly, who had ten digs and three aces. Those ten digs gave Hennelly a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillieanne Price, who had 15 digs and three assists.

Villa Rica has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Villa Rica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against New Manchester on the 7th. As for Temple, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Haralson County on the 5th.
