Baseball Recap: Madison-Grant Takes a Loss

If Madison-Grant was feeling good fresh off their 21-6 takedown of Elwood on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Argylls fell just short of the Anderson Indians by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Argylls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Brock Barnhart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Madison-Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Anderson, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11.

Coming up, Madison-Grant will welcome Maconaquah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Anderson, they will venture away from home to face off against Lapel at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
