Lanphier (Springfield, Ill.), Hickman (Columbia, Mo.) and Dubuque (Iowa) entered the Midwest Top 25 boys basketball rankings this week.

The Titans defeated then No. 19-ranked Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland), 80-76, for their 11th straight victory during Mustang Madness in Paducah, Ky. University of Kentucky signee Trey Lyles dominated with 29 points and 15 rebounds.
Next: Friday at Northwest (Indianapolis)

2. (2) St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio), 8-1
The Eagles defeated Beachwood (Ohio), 78-63, as Kipper Nichols posted 21 points and nine rebounds. Marsalis Hamilton added 17 points, while sophomore Derek Funderburk contributed 15 points to go with 10 rebounds.
Next: Saturday vs. St. Ignatius (Cleveland)

3. (4) Curie (Chicago), 13-1
The Condors won three games last week, including a 66-63 verdict against then No. 19 Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland) during Mustang Madness in Paducah, Ky. Cliff Alexander starred with 25 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks, while sophomore Devin Gage had 15 points. Alexander also had 17 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks and the defense forced 29 turnovers during a 53-26 rout of DuSable (Chicago). Alexander had 29 points, 17 rebounds and six blocks in a 75-59 victory over North Chicago (Ill.) at the Bob Hambric Shootout. Joseph Stamps added 18 points.

4. (5) Carmel (Ind.), 8-0
The Greyhounds routed Westfield (Ind.), 68-24, as Ryan Cline scored 21 points.

5. (6) Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati), 9-1
Senior guard Grant Benzinger scored 16 points to spark a 53-44 victory over Elder (Cincinnati).
Next: Tuesday at Centerville (Ohio)

6. (7) Park Tudor (Indianapolis), 7-1
Xavier signee Trevon Bluiett scored 36 points during a 91-56 rout of Heritage Christian (Indianapolis) and 40 during a 90-83 overtime win against Hopkinsville (Ky.).
Next: Tuesday vs. Roncalli (Indianapolis) in the Marion County Tournament

7. (8) Apple Valley (Minn.), 13-1
The Eagles flew past Burnsville (Minn.), 99-72, for their eighth straight victory. Duke signee Tyus Jones scored 27 points and Dennis Austin had 21. Jones had 22 points and eight assists during an 87-51 win over Eagan (Minn.).
Next: Tuesday vs. Lakeville North (Lakeville, Minn.)

8. (11) Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, Ill.), 13-1
The Spartans defeated Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, Tenn.), 80-63, during Mustang Madness in Paducah, Ky. as Terrone Parham scored 17 points. Tyler Ulis added 14 points and 10 assists. Parham had 22 points, while Ulis had 16 points, 11 assists and five steals during a 72-56 victory over St. Viator (Arlington Heights, Ill.).
Next: Saturday vs. Dunbar (Dayton, Ohio) at the Flyin' to the Hoop Invitational in Dayton, Ohio.

9. (9) Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.), 9-1
The Buffaloes split a pair of games during Mustang Madness in Paducah, Ky. They lost their first game to powerful Prime Prep (Dallas) 61-56, but rebounded with a 66-65 win over Carlisle School (Axton, Va.) as Lourawls Nairn Jr. scored 20 points.
Next: Tuesday vs. Prime Prep (Dallas) in Wichita, Kan.

11. (3) Stevenson (Lincolnshire, Ill.), 13-1
The Patriots were handed their first loss, 70-69 in overtime, by Zion-Benton (Zion, Ill.) despite 27 points by Jalen Brunson. Milik Yarbrough added 24 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Next: Friday vs. Lake Forest (Ill.).

12. (12) Muskegon (Mich.), 12-0
The Big Reds defeated Grand Haven 55-45 behind the balanced scoring of Deshaun Thrower (16), Joeviair Kennedy (15) and William Roberson (14).
Next: Tuesday at Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, Mich.)

13. (13) Pershing (Detroit), 6-1
The Doughboys posted a major victory on Saturday by handing Consortium College Prep (Detroit) its first loss 72-70 as Justin Tillman scored 23 points and Mory Diane 16. Diane had 21 points during a 61-50 victory over King (Detroit).
Next: Tuesday vs. East English Village Prep (Detroit)

14. (14) Whitney Young (Chicago), 9-4
The Dolphins defeated Marshall (Chicago) 67-42 behind the dominance of 6-11 Jahlil Okafor, who had 22 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks. Miles Reynolds added 18 points.
Next: Monday vs. Westinghouse (Chicago)

15. (15) Germantown (Wis.), 13-0
The Warhawks stretched the nation's longest current winning streak to 69 games with a 72-63 victory over Homestead (Mequon, Wis.). Seniors Evan Wesenberg and LaMonte Bearden Jr. scored 20 and 19 points, respectively.
Next: Tuesday at unbeaten Brookfield Central (Brookfield, Wis.)



16. (17) Greensburg (Ind.), 12-0
The Pirates made two more teams walk the plank over the weekend. They rolled past Shelbyville (Ind.), 69-43, on Friday as junior Ryan Welage scored a career-high 20 points and 6-6 Ball State University recruit Sean Sellers added 17. On Saturday they edged Connersville (Ind.) 46-39 with Sellers again scoring 17 points.
Next: Thursday vs. Batesville (Ind.)

17. (NR)  Lanphier (Springfield, Ill.), 15-0
The Lions are roaring behind University of Tennessee recruit Larry Austin Jr., who had 25 points and eight steals during a 67-36 victory over Rochester (Ill.). He also had 29 points and 15 rebounds and Xavier Bishop had 24 points during an 82-72 victory over talented Christian Brothers College (St. Louis).
Next: Friday vs. unbeaten Lincoln (Ill.)

18. (18) Bowman Academy (Gary, Ind.), 10-2
The Eagles beat Northrop (Fort Wayne, Ind.) 73-61 behind the all-around efforts of Davon Dillard, who had 24 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Arthur Haggard added 17 points.

19. (NR) Hickman (Columbia, Mo.), 12-0
The Kewpies rode a 43-point third quarter to a 77-28 rout of Battle (Columbia, Mo.). Jimmy Whitt led the way with 25 points and Douglas Johnson added 18. Whitt had 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Chris Clark added 20 points and dished out four assists during a 74-53 win against Cahokia (Ill.).
Next: Friday at Northeast Law & Public Service (Kansas City, Mo.)

21. (21) Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, Kan.), 4-1
The Huskies defeated Blue Valley (Stillwell, Kan.), 71-42, as Clayton Custer scored 23 points and also defeated Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, Mo.), 68-63.

The Rams snapped a state-record 60-game winning streak by beating Iowa City West (Iowa), 68-47 before a standing-room-only home crowd. Six-foot-seven Kyle Haber dominated with 29 points and University of Iowa football recruit Lucas Legrand grabbed 10 rebounds to lead a 38-24 advantage on the boards.

24. (24) St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, N.D.), 6-0
The Saints raced past Williston (N.D.) 70-48 behind the efforts of Darius Sparks (17 points), Ben Weisbeck (16 points and eight assists) and Scott Nagel (13 rebounds).

25. (25) Omaha Central (Neb.), 11-1
The Eagles defeated Millard West (Omaha, Neb.), 63-42, and Southeast (Lincoln, Neb.), 57-53, to stretch their winning streak to 10 games. Jarek Coles scored 15 points against Southeast, while 6-6 senior Tre'Shawn Thurman contributed 13 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks.
Next: Friday vs. Burke (Omaha, Neb.)
