Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridgefield). They put the hurt on the Washougal Panthers with a sharp 23-0 win on Monday. Fans of the Spudders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Ridgefield pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Washougal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ridgefield is set to face off against their familiar foe Columbia River at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Washougal will square off against rival R.A. Long at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
