Center Point-Urbana strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Independence Mustangs as they made off with a 58-37 victory. Give the Stormin' Pointers' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Center Point-Urbana's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Independence, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Center Point-Urbana will take on Solon in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Stormin' Pointers will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Independence and Marion will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
