Baseball Game Preview: Stafford Spartans vs. Royal Falcons

For the second straight game, Stafford will face off against Royal. The Spartans will head out to challenge the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Stafford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Stafford took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Royal get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

As for Royal, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-1.

Royal's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Stafford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324.
