Volleyball Recap: Waupaca Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Waupaca had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Denmark Vikings. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Waupaca was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 21-25, 25-11, 25-21.

Peyton Carlson paced Waupaca's offense, picking up 35 kills. Carlson got some help from Taylor Kling and her 50 assists. Sage Soto and Ava Adamczak kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Waupaca's victory bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Denmark, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waupaca is set to challenge their familiar foe Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Denmark will square off against rival Wrightstown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
