McKinley had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-7 to make it six. They fell 12-8 to the Springfield Tigers. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Trojans' highest-scoring match to date.
Davianna Bowyer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Keira Kemmery was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
