Basketball Game Preview: Loogootee Lions vs. Jac-Cen-Del Eagles

The Loogootee Lions and the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Loogootee will be strutting in after a win while Jac-Cen-Del will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Loogootee was able to grind out a solid victory over Springs Valley, taking the game 44-37.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Jac-Cen-Del's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 72-57 to Southwestern. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Rebels are ranked 94th).

Jac-Cen-Del's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Loogootee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
