Meanwhile, Tulsa CHEF rang in the new year with a 44-31 victory over Regent Prep on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Tulsa CHEF.

Tulsa CHEF's win came from a few key players Hoops for Christ will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaiya Pennington, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justyce Walters, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

Hoops for Christ's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Tulsa CHEF, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.
