Baseball Recap: Pine-Richland's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pine-Richland entered their tilt with Kiski Area on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Cavaliers.

Ben Husted was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Waddell, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Pine-Richland's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Kiski Area, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Pine-Richland will face off against New Castle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Hurricanes are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kiski Area, they will square off against Penn Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Indians will have lost 14 straight heading into Monday's game.
