Soccer Recap: Falls Church Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falls Church can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the West Potomac Wolverines on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Falls Church haven't been shut out since back in April.

Falls Church's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for West Potomac, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

Falls Church does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Potomac, they will face off against Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
