Plateau Valley entered their tilt with Rangely on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Plateau Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-13, 25-19.

Kyanna Himes paced Plateau Valley's offense, picking up 16 kills. Himes got some help from Lexi Taylor and her 23 assists. Lili Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Plateau Valley's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Rangely, they moved to 10-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Plateau Valley and Soroco will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rangely, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Cedaredge on the 25th.
