Basketball Recap: Pickerington North Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thomas Worthington last Tuesday, Pickerington North came back down to earth. The Pickerington North Panthers took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerville Central Warhawks on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Warhawks recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Pickerington North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Westerville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Pickerington North and Westerville Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Pickerington North (ranked 324th) will meet Lincoln (ranked 138th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Westerville Central will face off against Grove City at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st down 206 places (234 vs. 28).
