It's playoff time, and Loyd Star had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 40-27 win over the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints on Monday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Loyd Star's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Loyd Star will take on Bay Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bay Springs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Loyd Star surely won't give up without a fight. St. Andrew's Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
